How to have your own website up and running by tomorrow

When I was presenting a seminar recently on creating a simple home-based business, I asked the attendees whether they thought producing a website was too complex a task for them to do themselves. About 85% of the people there did think exactly that, and that consequently they need to bring in an expensive expert to do it for them.

The great news is that this is a complete misconception! If you can buy things online, send and receive emails, produce a letter in a word-processor, and copy files from one disk to another - you have all the skills you need to set up and create your own website. In fact you could have it live within an hour from now. The reason I said ‘by tomorrow’ is that it takes 24 to 48 hours typically for the name of your site to get recognised around the world from the moment you register it.
